Crazy Bibliophile and Book Pimp (Not So Anonymous)

I am a mother of two boys and avid reader; I practically live and breathe books. If I could sustain my life on just reading, I would live forever. I'm weird, and proud of it. I have traveled to many places: Mexico, St. Marteen, Prague, England, Cozumel, and Canada to name a few. Many moons ago I co-hosted "Welcome to Insanity" radio show on a micro radio station in TX- but our show was played via streaming internet in coffee houses in Amsterdam. I have a BA in theater. I used to be "the finder of lost things" but I think my last child robbed me of my gift. Now I just have a large collection of useless information... it goes with my growing mountain of "to be read" books

My Enchanted Life - Laura Eno I really appreciate Laura Eno allowing me to read and review her book. While I did receive this for free, that fact in no way influenced my review. My thoughts are my own. I found this book was just at 4♥'s.

This is a very quick, enchanting read. If you don't mind YA, then this is an ideal book if you are looking for something simple; a fast read to clear out the cobwebs left behind by bad books. It really is just so whimsical and sweet... you'll reach the end before you realize.

I really enjoy that writing 'style' is NOT complicated at all; it was such a nice change of pace to not be second guessing ulterior motives for character's actions. What you saw was what you got, and it still kept a smile on my face. This is a book that is relatively innocent, and can be given to a younger audience. I would not feel uncomfortable recommending this to my 12 year old, if I thought he would actually read it. (Sadly, he's not a bookworm like his mom.)

I liked the variety of characters and creatures; I think the dragon is one of my favorites. While is does have a plot, and the necessary 'drama' it's not overly deep. If you're looking for a uncomplicated, light read involving magical beings that is appropriate for a large age range, then look no further.
